Diamonds in a paper wrapping?

Paper is the traditional material to celebrate a First Wedding Anniversary. Imagine receiving this unusual paper box. Rather than having a simple lid to pop off, it needs to be turned over and admired before the secret to opening it is revealed.

It gradually unfolds to reveal a black pouch. Within it lies the prize... A quarter carat diamond within a circle of 18k white gold. The diamond is full-cut, round, brilliant, F-G color, VS2 quality. A narrow opening in the softly rounded back of the pendant lets a little extra light add to the diamond's glow.

This diamond droplet necklace was inspired by a single drop of water lightly touching the surface of a still lake. Its effects are felt far beyond where it began...
