Sakura Bud Vase - 6 sided kutani vase with a cherry flower motif

Sakura is the Japanese name for cherry blossoms. This 6 sided porcelain vase is decorated with a cherry flower design.

The shape is complex and was intentionally left slightly uneven. This adds interest to the piece, showing the hands of a craftsman in the original design, rather than machined perfection.

Comes with a simple black pedestal base (pictured) to visually set it off. This is Kutani Pottery, imported from Japan. Kutani pottery has been crafted in Japan for over 300 years... The size is 4.5" diameter x 4.25" high.
